Several times a year I teach workshops concentrating on the pastel medium. In a one day workshop the entire process of completing a painting is covered. The session starts with a short talk about methods and materials. Participants watch as a painting is begun and they may begin their own painting at any time during the demonstration. Questions are encouraged through out the entire workshop. "My goal is to encourage the use of pastel as a fine art medium and to share what I have learned with my students in an encouraging environment. I want to share my enthusiasm for pastels."
